Day 11

GALLE

Early morning visit Yala Park for a Leopard drive once again to the places listed in the previous day and return for late breakfast. Then leave for Galle via coastline Tissa, Tangalle and Matara. On the way at Tissa photograph Tissa or Yatala Dagoba with unique features found only in the southern area monuments, seascapes on the way, Wevurukannala Buddha Statue (largest in the Island), World famous stilt Fishermen (only in SriLanka) at Koggala and the Dutch Fort at Galle which is a “World Heritage site”. Be there before the sun goes down to get a beautiful sunset with the Fort in the foreground and the sun going down between the old light house and the minaret of the Mosque.

Day 12

GALLE

Morning walk in the city, market and Bus stand area for portrait and different faces for photography or just relax on the beach.

Day 13

Afternoon drive to Colombo via Southern Expressway, have dinner at a restaurant and then drive to the airport for your departure.

Bandu Gunaratne is a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain (RPS) and anArtist-Excellence of Federation of International Photographic Art (FIAP). He is a visiting lecturer of Photography at University of Moratuwa, SriLanka and a mentor of Photography at Metropolitan Photo Hub (Canon), Photo Technica (Nikon School), Sri Lanka College of Journalists & National Photographic Art Society of Sri Lanka, Colombo. Bandu is a travel photographer who has visited 26 countries nevertheless an international award winner. He is also a Juror in international photo competitions.
