Itinerary in Detail

Day 1

COLOMBO

On arrival you will be driven to Colombo. If time permits you may visit Pettah where you have the vegetable and fruit markets and visit Textile shops as well. If interested visit the Fish Market and the main bus and train terminals, Wolvendhaal Dutch Church, , Independence Hall, Hindu Kovil at Slave Island, Colombo Municipal Council, Viharamahadevi Park and other city sites are of interest.

Day 2

COLOMBO

Begin by going to the Colombo golf course, which is over 130 years old, making it the second oldest Royal golf club outside the United Kingdom. Alternatively, if you wish to practice, this is the only course that offers a modern driving range. Enjoy lunch at the colonial style Veranda which is the venue where many a golfing story is related and the achievements and disappointments of golfers were discussed. Play a round of Golf and proceed back to the hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 3

KANDY

After Breakfast set off to the inland amusement of Sri Lanka. Clingendael, which is a luxury private villa located inside the Victoria Gold Course. During your game over this 18 hole course, which was designed by the British Golf Architects - Donald Steel and Co who have taken full advantage of the terrain incorporating undulating hillside, planted coconut and majestic Jak forests. For the avid golfers you will be happy to know that this course was planted with imported Bermuda grass.
