SHIPWRECK DIVING

After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya via Weerawila, Wellawaya and Ella. Near Nugeyaya visit Buduruvagala to see the tallest rock-cut Buddha Statue 51 feet in height and 6 other statues accompanying it. See Randeniwela monument, and stop at the Ella Rest House for lunch and to enjoy the superb view through the Ella Gap with the Great & Little Basses Lighthouses to be observed with a Binocular. Proceed via Bandarawela to Nuwara Eliya.

Morning visit the Market, Victoria Park, drive round Gregory Lake, visit Moon Plains and Elk Plains OR play a game of Golf at the Golf Club. (Green fees, & Kaddy fees not included). After lunch leave for Kandy. On the way see Ramboda Falls (329ft. high) and stop at a Tea Factory to see the process, and to buy ‘unblended’ tea. In Kandy visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic to witness the evening ‘Pooja’ (offerings) and in the evening go for a Kandyan Dance Performance.

After breakfast proceed for a city tour. Visit Kandy Market, drive round the lake, visit Wace Park, Kandy Museum, Arts & Crafts Center and Laksala. Shopping in Kandy. After lunch leave for Negombo. On the way visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, New Paradise Spice garden, Mawanella and Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela. Evening arrive at Negombo.
